Watch An American Soldier

This documentary film chronicles the recruiting efforts of Sergeant First Class Clay Usie. Sergeant Usie is put in charge of recruiting efforts in his hometown area of Houma, LA. For Usie, serving in the Army should be considered a privilege and an honor. As he visits several of the local educational facilities, he sets his sight on four high school students (Lauren, Matt, Bobby, and Chris) who he believes will benefit by military service. The film follows those four students as they finish up their schooling and start preparations for boot camp, subsequently following them though their time in boot camp.
