Watch Au hasard Balthazar

This movie follows Marie who was given a donkey as a child. She named him Balthazar and treats him well. She gets older and begins dating a man named Gerald. He is mean to the donkey. Marie’s family hits hard times and has to sell Balthazar. He is purchased by a baker and worked until he could hardly stand. He is then purchased by a drunk who helps him get well again. This man dies and Balthazar is then purchased by a farmer. This is not the end for this donkey. There is one more use for him.
