Britney Spears: Princess of Pop is a musical documentary special that was released straight to DVD in 2012. The special shows how the pop star had gotten the title of Pop Princess and also shows the footage of her musical history. Before Britney Spears became a Pop Icon, she was a mouseketeer in the Mickey Mouse Club in the 1990s. In 1999 she debut her album Baby One More Time and it was certified double platinum after the first month's release. Within the next few years her albums had debut number one in the charts and millions of copies were being sold within months after the album release.
