Kusthi is a Tamil movie is a story of Jeeva who escapes from his marriage as his father forced him to marry his friend's daughter. He later saves a local goon from some gangsters and wins his heart. Jeeva meets Divya a research scholar and falls in love with her. With a lot of clashes and differences in opinion, Divya's grandfather agrees to get her married to Jeeva with a condition that he would go to Ooty with them.
