A knee injury forces college student David Morales to forfeit his University of San Diego scholarship. But David is optimistic that he can find a job to continue to cover his educational bills. Professor Darabount is willing to pay David handsomely to carry packages into Mexico, and David doesn't question their contents or whether or not he is putting himself at risk by being a courier.
