Watch Ronia, the Robber's Daughter

"Ronia, the Robber's Daughter" is a film from 1984. Ronia is a child among a robber clan who grows up in "Mattis' Fort," a castle. She is the only child of Mattis, the clan chief, and is expected to lead the clan after Mattis es. One day, Ronia meets Birk, the son of an enemy chieftain and the only other child Ronia has ever encountered. While Ronia is sad that Birk is from a rival clan, Birk compels her to play jumping games until one of them falls. Birk winds up falling, but Ronia rescues him and makes a friend.
