Watch Southern Comfort

This documentary details the problems facing a transgender man, Robert Eads in the final year of his life. The documentary looks at the problems Eads faces when he is diagnosed with ovarian cancer and struggles to find a doctor willing to treat him because he has undergone sexual reassignment. Despite his health problems Eads remains determined to attend the Southern Comfort conference with his girlfriend Lola, a transgender woman. Amongst the problems he faces, Robert Eads must decide which of his family to reconcile with and who to surround himself with in his final days.
