UNCLE HITLER immerses us in the family of the man who, for most people, embodies the darkest pages in history. This documentary will look closely at four branches of Adolf Hitler's family: - The descendants of Hitler's Mother's family (Austria) - The descendants of Hitler's Half-Sister (Austria) - The descendants of Hitler's Half-Brother (United States) - Hitler's In-Laws: the family of Eva Braun, Mrs. Adolf Hitler () It discovers the truth behind an undisclosed secret, Hitler's illegitimate son: With the aid of DNA tests, the documentary will, for the first time, reveal whether the person recognised by a branch of the family and by experts on the Third Reich as Hitler's illegitimate son, truly was who he claimed to be. The documentary also takes us on a quest to meet the few remaining survivors of Hitler's entourage. From his personal Chief of Staff (who has died since the interview), through to his valet, we are privy to rare insights into a family history which was far from the norm. Their commentary allows us to make sense of the twists and turns of a little known family history. The ironic outcome of this film reveals that the heirs of Mr. and Mrs. Hitler were those whom Adolf Hitler persecuted the most.
