Stitch & Ai is an animated television series that follows the story of a young girl named Ahiku living in a rural area of China. Ahiku is a self-reliant and determined girl who takes care of her grandmother and makes a living by selling flowers at the local market. Her life changes when she rescues a strange, blue creature from a group of bullies. This creature, Stitch, is actually an extraterrestrial experiment from the planet Turo.

Stitch was illegally transported from Hawaii to China by a group of hunters who are on the hunt for experiments with similar powers as his. After landing in China, Stitch meets Ahiku who saves him from the hunters and becomes his new friend. However, Stitch is not the only experiment that was transported from Hawaii to China; there are nine other experiments scattered throughout China.
